Dr. Kimberly Clarida

Education. Policy Research. Racial Equity.

About Me (she/her/sis)

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at MSU on a federally funded Education Innovation and Research (EIR) project that partners with HBCUs to promote equitable access to culturally responsive science curricula for students and teachers in rural Alabama and North Carolina.

My research agenda focuses on

  • The role of organizations and policy implementation in (re)producing educational (in)equity for Black and Brown school leaders, and
  • How district, state, and federal policies impact racial and educational equity for Black and Brown students.

I hope that my work will assist in creating a more equitable education system for all students.
